Martin enjoys teaching people of all ability levels and ages. His students range from first-timers to life-long enthusiasts to people with disabilities. Everyone is welcome in his lessons, clinics, and camps.

Martin Wiesiolek is a professional cross country ski instructor. He strongly believes that regardless of your experience level, getting coached will help you be a more effective skier. And the more things you learn to do on your skis, the more fun you'll have on them. Martin brings more than 20 years of skiing and ski teaching experience to his lessons, clinics and articles. His teaching credentials include:

  • Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA), Rocky Mountain Division, Education Staff and Ski Instructors Examiner
  • PSIA Level III Cross Country Ski Instructor
  • PSIA Level II Alpine Ski Instructor
  • US Ski & Snowboard, Alpine Coach and Official
  • Special Olympics Colorado, Level III Coach
  • Veterans Administration, Winter Sports Clinic in Aspen-Snowmass, Lead Cross Country Ski Instructor
  • Firearms instructor (rifle and pistol)

Martin’s free time is filled with trail running, backpacking, mountain biking, sport shooting, and enjoying family and friends. He cherishes the experience of learning new sports as an adult because it connects him to many of his students.

Martin was born and raised in Poland and thus in addition to his accented English he also speaks Polish. He is a combat veteran of the U.S. Army.
