Biathlon rifles use low or standard velocity .22-caliber ammunition with 40 grain lead bullets. The Club will supply 30 (5 for zeroing and 25 for the shooting bouts) rounds to each competitor for a race for those using the Club pool rifles. We recommend that you use the ammo supplied by the club since club rifles will be sighted with that ammo.
Bringing high velocity ammunition of above 1,180 ft/s or jacketed bullets to the biathlon range is strictly prohibited.
