Scotty McGee teaches and guides Cross Country, Telemark and Alpine skiing in Jackson, Wyoming, and is a 4-term veteran of the Professional Ski Instructors of American National Nordic Team. He is a trainer and certifier, as well as a guide, for all three skiing disciplines. One of his favorite skiing activities is setting speed records for long distance tours on light gear, which in one of its forms might be called Skate Ski Mountaineering. Scott is an accomplished writer (see Falcon Guides' Basic Illustrated Cross Country Skiing) and has served as author and technical reviewer of several instructor manuals.
In summer, Scott has guided in his the mountains of his home Teton Range for 20 years, and teaches paddling on the regions lakes and rivers through Rendezvous River Sports in Jackson, WY.
