The Club will provide full training for this position.

The Range Safety Officer (RSO) and is responsible for all range matters concerning safety. The RSO reports to the Chief of Range and includes the following responsibilities:

  • Understand and enforce the range safety protocols for competitors and spectators
  • Know how to open and close the range
  • Direct supervision on the firing line
  • Understand the .22/biathlon rifle, its operation, magazine, sights, and safety

This is a volunteer position with a potential for a paid position.
